Finding Solid Ground

A Cedar Park Therapist Helping Women Heal, Reconnect, and Thrive

You’ve spent years taking care of everyone else. Now it may be time to make space for yourself.

Many of the women I work with are the ones everyone depends on. They are caring, responsible, and capable—but underneath the surface, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves.

They often find themselves saying yes when they want to say no, carrying responsibilities that aren’t theirs to carry, and feeling guilty when they try to prioritize their own needs.

If this sounds familiar, I want you to know that you are not alone.

My work as a therapist is rooted in helping women understand themselves more deeply, heal from painful experiences, and create healthier relationships—with themselves and with the people around them.

Acelli Crippen-Kok, LPC-S, therapist and owner of Solid Ground Counseling & Wellness in Cedar Park, Texas

Who I work best with

I work best with adult women who are ready to understand themselves on a deeper level and create meaningful change in their lives.

Many of the women I support have spent years being the person others rely on. They are thoughtful, compassionate, and deeply committed to the people they love. Over time, however, they may find themselves carrying more than they were meant to carry—leaving them feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected from their own needs.

You may be someone who:

  • Feels responsible for everyone else’s emotions, needs, or happiness

  • Struggles to say no without feeling guilty or selfish

  • Finds yourself overthinking, worrying, or constantly trying to prevent problems

  • Has difficulty resting because there is always something else to do or someone else to care for

  • Feels stuck in patterns you learned growing up but are ready to change

  • Wants to heal from painful experiences, family patterns, or generational wounds

  • Has a hard time prioritizing yourself without feeling like you are letting others down

  • Longs for healthier relationships but isn’t sure where to begin

  • Wants to feel more confident, grounded, and connected to who you truly are

Therapy with me is a place to slow down, understand the experiences that shaped you, and begin creating a life that feels more aligned with who you are—not just who you have learned to be for others.

You do not have to wait until things feel unbearable to seek support. Therapy can be a space to reconnect with yourself, strengthen your boundaries, and build a relationship with yourself that feels safe and compassionate.

My journey to becoming a counselor

Like everyone else, I am human. I have experienced both wonderful and difficult seasons of life that have shaped who I am and how I show up as a therapist.

My own experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how our relationships, experiences, and the patterns we learn along the way can influence the way we see ourselves and interact with the world.

I believe healing begins with the relationship we have with ourselves. When we feel safe, supported, and connected to who we are, we open the door to new possibilities.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you begin your own journey toward healing, self-acceptance, and empowerment.

A Safe, Compassionate Space to Be Yourself

I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as your whole self—without judgment, pressure, or the need to pretend that everything is okay.

Clients often describe me as someone who listens deeply, creates a safe environment, and stays present with them through difficult conversations and experiences.

In our work together, I will help you:

  • Understand your experiences and how they have shaped you

  • Recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you

  • Develop healthier boundaries without being consumed by guilt

  • Process painful experiences and relationships

  • Build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. Our work together will be collaborative and personalized to your unique needs, goals, and experiences.

My approach to therapy

I believe:

  • Change is possible when you give yourself the space and support to do the work.

  • You are stronger than the struggles you are facing, even when you feel exhausted.

  • Healing involves the whole person—mind, body, and emotional well-being.

  • Learning to accept yourself, imperfections and all, is one of the most courageous things you can do.

  • Even when you feel stuck or disconnected from yourself, you can begin again.

Professional Background

I earned my M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University–Central Texas in 2015 and began working toward professional licensure in 2016.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #76055) since 2018 have been a LPC Supervisor since 2023.

Before entering private practice, I spent 14 years working in education as a bilingual teacher and school counselor and all three levels.

These experiences strengthened my passion for helping people recognize their strengths, build confidence, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Lets discover how I can help

Beginning therapy is vulnerable, especially if you are used to being the person who handles everything on your own.

You do not have to continue carrying everything alone.

If you are ready to explore what healing could look like, I invite you to schedule a free phone consultation. We can talk about what you are experiencing, what you are hoping to change, and whether we may be a good fit to work together.

Your journey begins with the relationship you build with yourself.
